The Dawlish World War One Project is a partnership project between groups in the Dawlish, Holcombe and Cofton area who have commemorated those who gave their lives over the period of the First World War.

At the completion of the project a further plaque was added to Dawlish War Memorial and thirteen names are now also recorded of those who had strong family connections to Dawlish.

The material displayed on this website has been collected and edited to provide a chronological account in three volumes “Dawlish Remembers the First World War”. Publication and ordering details are shown in Publications.
